The Meaning Behind Our Name
The name Sixth Sun Consulting is derived from the Mayan calendar.  December 21, 2012 will mark the date when we move into the sixth sun, which is said to be a significant time in history. Many Mayans and other indigenous people around the world believe that as we are heading towards this date, human consciousness is being transformed to a level that will have an impact on the chaos that now exists in the world (i.e. war, natural disasters, etc.). This time is often referred to as the “great awakening". At Sixth Sun Consulting, we want the opportunity to work with you and your organization to promote a new level of awareness that energizes the surrounding community and world.

The First Revolution is Internal
The most revolutionary act of resistance we can commit is to heal ourselves, it is only then we will be truly liberated. We must first look inward to experience true growth. Heightened self-awareness and recognition of our own power and gifts enable us to more powerfully impact our organizations, community and the world.
